Erik has 13 years of site evaluation, design and engineering experience beginning with his role as a Hydrologic Technician for the US Forest Service. From there, Erik has held other positions that include working in the power transmission and distribution industry designing substations and transmission lines, working as a construction inspector for major infrastructure, and working in commercial land development primarily in the Western US. Erik’s current role is focused on the entitlement and civil design of utility scale solar power facilities. He has a particular focus on the effects of erosion and stormwater on solar facilities and seeks to use the best modeling and design tools in site design.
Erik is a registered professional engineer and has an MBA with an emphasis on data analytics. Erik strives to use his passion for engineering and data to create designs that serve the end goals of the project owner, while emphasizing the sustainability and minimizing the environmental impact of projects he works on.
