Daniel is a Senior Project Manager and New York State permitting lead at EDR with more than 10 years of professional experience. Daniel previously worked in academia as a Research Project Manager and for the Bureau of Land Management as a Rangeland Management Specialist. Daniel has a strong background in federal and state environmental permitting, technical writing, public resource management, and soil and plant ecology. He is a published author in the fields of Soil Science, Ecology, and Remote Sensing.
As a Senior Project Manager with EDR, Daniel works directly with developers and state and federal agencies in managing the development and construction of large-scale energy projects. Daniel has played a major role in the permitting and/or construction of over a dozen large-scale energy projects. The scope of Daniel’s effort includes completing environmental analyses, processing data, preparing technical reports, developing permitting applications, negotiating with state and federal agencies, developing mitigation projects, and supporting projects through the construction phase.
