Scott McBurney is a Senior Project Manager, Wetlands Technical Leader, and a Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) with over 20 years of environmental permitting and consulting experience, the majority of which has been associated with large-scale energy projects, particularly high-voltage transmission lines, and renewable energy generation facilities. Scott has extensive expertise with ecological resources assessments (e.g., wetlands, threatened & endangered species, flora/fauna surveys, vernal pool surveys), federal, state, and local regulatory permitting/licensing, NEPA impact analyses, siting and routing analyses, and utility siting and licensing (e.g., New York Article VII, Article 10, and 94-c and the Maryland Public Service Commission Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity). Scott has completed and managed projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina involving sites ranging in size from <1 acre to several thousand acres.
