For more than ten years, Rebecca has focused her consulting career on advising renewable energy developers, attorneys, lenders, and other industry professionals on environmental due diligence strategies in support of wind, solar, transmission, storage, and other land development projects across North America. Prior to joining consulting, Rebecca was employed as a brownfields specialist for a Tribal government in northern Michigan. She received an undergraduate degree in hydrogeology from Central Michigan University and is currently completing graduate studies in sustainable environmental planning at the University of Connecticut.
Rebecca oversees ECT’s national due diligence practice and has supported utility, community, and DG renewable energy project development on private and public land in 43 states. She is regarded as an expert at environmental risk mitigation strategies and continuing obligations assessments. In her role at ECT, Rebecca advises renewable energy clients on the brownfields redevelopment process, most recently for properties with historical mining, landfilling, and oil/gas exploration and production.
