Brogan Morton is the founder of Wildlife Imaging Systems, a startup developing advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions for the wildlife research community. He has won several competitive Small Business Innovative Research grants from the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation (NSF), including grants to develop the wildlife activity and mortality detection system for the wind industry.
Before embarking on his own, he was a senior product manager at NRG System where he managed the product development of NRG’s Bat Deterrent System that uses ultrasound to reduce bat mortality at wind turbines. Prior NRG Systems, he was an engineer doing research and development on aerospace systems at a small startup. He earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Idaho State University.
