Michael Van Laeken is a Senior Restoration Ecologist and Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner supporting the renewable energy industry. Michael coordinates pre-construction site evaluations for informing restoration and biodiversity plans, develops ecologically minded site restoration specifications, monitoring protocols, and plans for vegetation management during all stages of a project. Michael is adept at performing plot based data collection, ecosystem health evaluations and biodiversity assessments to develop recommendations for revegetation efforts and habitat enhancements within rehabilitated, reclaimed and restored ecosystems.
