Kenton Taylor is a Senior Wildlife Biologist based in WEST’s Bozeman, Montana, office, where he supports project managers, and field supervisors in their work at WEST. Kenton has experience facilitating complex discussions and meetings with resource agencies and industry, and incorporating scientific principals' and evidence-based approaches to solving natural resource problems. He has over 20 years of experience conducting ecological research for a wide variety of industry and government clients. While he has experience conducting studies related to a wide variety of human and wildlife interactions such as pipelines, highway/pathway construction, cell towers, and oil and gas development, Kenton’s primary focus has been studies related to wind energy developments. He has been extensively involved in the development of Bird and Bat Conservation Strategies and Eagle Conservation Plans related to wind energy development and acts as an internal eagle lead within WEST to provide oversight and coordination for WEST’s eagle work across the US.
